Gurudwara Sri Patshahi Nauvin Sahib, Dhilwaan

Gurudwara Sri Patshahi Nauvin Sahib is situated in Village Dhilwaan district barnala. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji came here from handayaa via dhaula, sohiana Sahib. Guru Sahib first came at Village kailon, but people didnt cared about him. Then Guru Sahib came here in Village Dhilwaan. Bhai mado ji basically from Village surSingh wala teh patti, who was settled here met Guru Sahib and insisted to stay there. Guru Sahib agreed and stayed here for longest time in malwa region. Apart from teaching sikhism to people Guru Sahib also helped people to solve there other domestic problems. Guru Sahib got many well(khooh) dug to solve the water problem. Guru Sahib also distributed some cows in poor people to solve the milk problem.

Gurdwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Dhillwan is also known as Gurdwara Sri Patshahi Nauvin Sahib.

Gurdwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Dhillwan came here from Handiaya via Dhaula, Sohiana Sahib.

Guru Tegh Bahadur first arrived at village Kailon but the people there didn’t offer any courtesy. When Guru Tegh Bahadur arrived in Dhillwan Guru Ji met Bhai Mado.

Bhai Mado was from village Sursingh Wala, tehsil Patti, but had settled in Dhillwan. Bhai Mado insisted that Guru Tegh Bahadur should stay here as a guest where Guru Ji was looked after with great respect and devotion.

Apart from holding diwans and teaching people about Sikhi, Guru Ji would help solve other problems.

Guru Tegh Bahadur had a well dug to help with water shortages in the village and freely donated buffalos to the villagers to help provide milk.
