Gurudwara Sri Chola Sahib – Dera Baba Nanak

This Gurdwara is situated 45 Km West of Gurdaspur City and 55 Km from Amritsar City in Town Dera Baba Nanak.

At this place one can have a glimpse of the Holy Chola Sahib of First Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This Chola Sahib was brought by Baba Kabli Mall Ji (who was a ninth generation descendant of Guru Nanak Dev Ji) from Balakh Bukhara (Baghdad) and was installed at this place. Now Sri Guru Granth Sahib has been installed at the place. Chola Sahib has been kept in a glass case at the house of Guru Ji’s descendants, about 50 metres on the back side of the Gurdwara.

An eight cornered well of Baba Sri Chand Ji is situated inside the Gurdwara. The disease of Athrah is cured by having a bath with the water of this well.

Gurudwara Sri Chola Sahib is situated in the Dera Baba Nanak town of Gurdaspur district. Here eight cornered well is situated. With blessings from Baba Sri chand ji and bath from this well problem of athraaah is cured. Baba Kabli Mal ji who was from ninth stage from Guru Nanak Dev ji’s family brought Guru Sahib’s chola from balak bukhara. Allong with chola is a hankie hand weeved by Bibi Nanaki ji. These sacred belongings of Guru Sahib are presrved at Guru Sahib’s family house situated on the back side of this Gurudwara Sahib.
