Gurudwara Sri Tarantaarn Sahib, Muktsar

Gurudwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib is situated in the district city Mukatsar. While moving towards Rupana from mound of khidrana, Guru Gobind Singh ji stopped at this place. Singhs asked the reason of stop to which Guru Sahib replied that many rishis(sage) and munis(seer) meditated on this place. A beautiful memorial would be constructed here and this pond would become holy Sarovar, in which if anyone take bath, his mental and physical diseases will be cured. Every sunday diwans are held here. People from distant places come to this pious place.

This Gurdwara is also known as Gurdwara Shri Taran Taran Dukh Nivaran Sahib and is situated at a distance of about 1.25 Km from Mukatsar City on Mukatsar-Bathinda Road.

When Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji started his journey towards Rupana from Mukatsar (after winning the battle of Khidrane Dee Dhab), he stopped at this place. The Sikhs asked the reason of stop to which Guru Ji replied that many Rishies (Sages) and Munies (Seers) used to meditate here. One Day a beautiful Memorial would be constructed here and the pond would be converted into a sarovar. Anyone who would take bath here, all his physical and mental ailments would be cured.
