Gurdwara Pehli Patshahi, Bushehr
Gurdwara Pehli Patshahi (Gurdwara of the first Master) at Bandar-e-Bushehr the main port on the Iranian coast located across the Persian Gulf from present day Al Kuwayt, (28.9184� N 50.8382� E), was a popular stopping point for Muslim Pilgrims on the yearly Hajj in the days of Guru Nanak. Guru Nanak Sahib stopped over at this port during his visit to Mecca (Saudi Arabia) as a ‘Hajji’ in 1519-20. Before rounding Arabia and sailing up the Red Sea to Jiddah (lit; Grandmother in Arabic) a reference to Eve or Hawwa who is said to have landed there after her fall from Heaven.
