Guru Singh Sabha Augusta

The Sikh Gurudwara of Augusta was founded in early 1993 by Sikh Sangat of Augusta.

Land was purchased in EVANS Georgia under KHALSA DIWAN TRUST which is the Tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation to built the Gurudwara. Presently located on 4031 Evans to Lock Road.

The Gurudwara was built upon donation of a founder families of SINGHS with the grace of Guru’s. The operations of gurudwara is under the management of the SEWADARS of GURU SINGH SABHA OF AUGUSTA GA. Khalsa Diwan Trust is a corporation which take all financial interest of properties and Guru Singh Sabha is a primary managing authority to operate the Gurudwara.

Guru Singh Sabha has no official paid membership no elections only selections of working bodies called SEWADARS of Management, SEWADARS of programs and SEWADARS of finances (PRESIDENT, SECRETARY & TREASURER) process of selection is kept very simple to follow the Sikh Rayeth Mariada for Nominated members to be in good Practicing Sikh Values (Unshorn Hair and complete believe in Guru Granth Sahib)

This System has worked efficiently from 1994 till now with most of old members of Guru Singh Sabha of Augusta GA
