Gurudwara Rohla Sahib – Jagi Rana
This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 20 Km Southwest of Bathinda City and 12 Km from town Giddarbaha in Village Jagi Rana.
The Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this place and sat near the Shrine of a martyr Barber named Rohla. The older Shrine has been replaced with Gurdwara Rohla Sahib in the memory of the visit of Guru Ji.
Gurdwara Sri Rohla Sahib is situated within the village Jangi Rana which is about 20 km southeast of Bathinda city.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this site on Guru Sahib’s way to Talwandi Sabo, stopping at a number of villages along the way.
The old Gurdwara no longer exists. The new Gurdwara, raised in honour of Guru Gobind Singh, is a two storey building, with the sanctum in the middle of the hall on the ground floor.
The Gurdwara is managed by a Nihang Singh of the Buddha Dal.
