Gurudwara Shahid Ganj and Beri Sahib – Mehraj

This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 45 Km from Bathinda City and 6 Km Northwest of town Rampura Phul in Village Mehraj. This Gurdwara is situated on the Eastern side of Gurdwara Gurusar sahib, Mehraj.

At this place, Sixth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji , after winning the battle of Mehraj , got a well dug up in which killed Muslim soldiers alongwith their arms and ammunition were buried. Above the well Guru Ji cremated those Sikh Soldiers who had won martyrdom in the battle of Mehraj.

A Beri tree also exists here with which Guru Ji had tied his horse. A Nishan Sahib (a Reilgious Flag of Sikhs) in the memory of martyred Sikh soldiers is also installed nearby.
