Gurudwara Tabhsar Sahib – Goh

This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 7 Km from town Khanna and 45 Minutes drive from Ludhiana City in Village Goh.

The Sixth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji stayed at Village Ajnaur while going to Amritsar from Gwalior. The Villagers informed Guru Ji that a Lion has struck terror in the area. Guru Ji set out in search of that Lion and reached near a Pond Of fresh water in Village Goh. Guru Ji took rest on the bank of the Pond and continuing his search for the Lion reached Village Bhamuja. Guru Ji killed the Lion there and presented the skin of the Lion to Baba Sri Chand Ji (the elder son of First Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji) at Kiratpur Sahib. Gurdwara Tabhsar Sahib has been constructed at the place where the Pond existed in Village Goh.
