Gurdwara Sri Thara Sahib Ganeshpur Bharta marks the site where Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji visited and met Baba Lakho.
Baba Lakho was a Sikh and a yogi, there is a Samadhi (a memorial) near the Gurdwara for him and his three followers.
Guru Hargobind came here at the request of Bhai Lakho as a few kilometers away in village Panch Nangal there was a man named Kalu who was constructing a replica of Sri Harmandar Sahib and its Sarovar.
Kalu was attempting to get the local people to believe that visiting his replica would gain the same benefits as they would get by visiting the Sri Harmandar Sahib at Amritsar. Kalu was trying to antagonize the Sikhs.
Guru Hargobind sent a message for Kalu to come and meet him but he refused. Some Sikhs tied Kalu and brought him before Guru Sahib but Guru Sahib had him released.
Kalu refused to stop provoking the Sikhs. Guru Hargobind said Kalu's place would not prosper.
