Guru Nanak Foundation Gurdwara – Glenwood

Australian Sikh Association Inc (ASA) is the largest registered body of Sikhs in the Southern Hemisphere. With over two thousand members, and growing rapidly, it manages ‘The Sikh Centre’ and serves the Sikh Community in the Greater Western and North-West Regions of the Sydney Metro Area.

The Sikh Centre is the hub of activity all year round, with the Glenwood Gurdwara (the Sikh place of worship, meditation and religious congregation) within its premises. The members of the Sikh community visit the Centre every week so that they can pray, meditate and listen to the teachings and Hymns from Sri Guru Granth Sahib (the Living Guru and the Sikh Holy Book) together with other fellow Sikhs. The community also celebrates special religious events at the Gurdwara, during most of these events, the attendance exceeds over 5,000.
