This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 2 Km from town Fatehgarh Sahib and 5 Km from town Bassi on Sirhind-Morinda Road in Village Baher.
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited this place while on his way from Nandpur-Kalaur to Dadu Majra-Bhagrana.
When Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur was resting here, he saw a woman with the dead body of her son.
Guru Tegh Bahadur enquired as to what had happened. The woman replied that a demon has killed her child.
Guru Tegh Bahadur said that the child was only sleeping. Guru Tegh Bahadur poured water on the dead child and he woke up.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji named the village Baher, hence the name of the Gurdwara. After that the demon stopped terrorizing the villagers.
