The Village by the name of Hadiara is situated on Lahore-Ghawindi road. This road was previously known as Lahore-Patti road.
There is a sacred Shrine of Sri Guru HarGobind Ji in the Village Hadiara. He visited this place in recognition of the affection of the Sikh Sangat. The Gurdwara is the tallest building of the Village and it is visible from a distance. At present refugees from Amritsar are settled in it. The building is beautiful and in good condition but there is no arrangement for its maintenance. Once Prakash to perform daily and the priests were Singhs.
Hadiara was a very big Sikh populated village pre partition, divided into 14 pattis (Wards). In the 1911 Census of Imperial British Punjab. There were 1,571 Sikh Batth jatt in this village. Guru Hargobind Sahib Miri Piri de Malik along with some Sikh Soldiers came to Hadiara in around 1620 to bless Sikh Sangat. Sikh Zamindars and Chaudhri of Patti Taju ke welcomed Guru Sahib with great devotion. Sangat built a Thara at the site. Some 200 years later from 1620 the Sangat got built tall Gurdwara at the site. 100 acres of land was donated to the Gurdwara as a Jagir. Baba Bir Singh Ji (1768-1844) of Village Dhillon Gagobua (Tarn Taran) Sikh Saint and a Shaheed during the Sikh Rule, came to Hadiara in 1838.
