Gurudwara Sri Baoli Sahib is situated in Village Dalla, tehsil Sultanpur Lodhi district Kapurthala. Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji came to this Village dall for marraige of his son Sri Guru HarGobind Sahib ji. Along with Guru Sahib were Baba Buddha ji, Bhai Gurdas ji, Bhai Bhahlo ji, Bhai Shalo ji, Baba Bidhi Chand ji. Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji himself started the work to dig Baoli Sahib. And later assigned Bhai Shalo ji to complete this work.
After the wedding of his son, Sri Guru Arjan Sahib Ji started the work to dig the Baoli Sahib at the site of this Gurdwara. Bhai Shalo Ji was assigned to oversee and complete the work.
Dalla is also known for the Khuhi of Bhai Paro, where he would feed and water those in need. Bhai Paro received spiritual instruction at the hands of Guru Angad Sahib Ji and asked Guru Amar Das Ji to visit him in Dalla to educate the local sangat.
Guru Amar Das selected four indivduals to preach on his behalf, they were; Bhai Paro Julaka, Bhai Lalu Ji Sabharval, Shah Allah Yar and Bhai Khanu Chhura.
Bhai Daya Singh (one of the original Punj Pyare and Mata Bamodari were descendants of Bhai Paro.
There are 72 Gursikhs from this village that have been written about in the Mahima Prakash Granth.
