Gurudwara Sri Charan Kamal Sahib is situated in the Village Karhali, Dakala, district. Patiala. Guru HarGobind Sahib ji, visited here residence of Bhai Surmukh sikh. Guru Sahib stayed here for 40 days.
After this, Bhai Surmukh was able to return to his original home, where Gurdwara Sri Charan Kamal Sahib Karhali is located, and he along with the other villagers paid their respect to Guru Sahib by bowing before the Guru's feet.
It is said that Guru Sahib blessed all and explained that whoever bathed in the pond for five Sundays or for five panchmiyan, would have 18 types of diseases cured by the blessing of all mighty. Guru Sahib predicted that this site would become a sacred site.
Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji stayed with Bhai Surmukh Sikh in Karhali for about 40 days.
While going to Delhi, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji also visited this place.
