Gurudwara Sri Chola Sahib, Ghudani Kalan

Gurudwara Sri Chola Sahib is situated in the Village Ghudaani kalan, district Ludhiana. When Sri Guru HarGobind Sahib ji came to Village ghudaani kalan, he first stoped at the place where Gurudwara Sri Damdama Sahib is situated. At that time a Sadhu was living here. He served Guru Sahib with water. He had discussions with Guru Sahib. Guru Sahib also set him free from the cycle of life and death. When people came to know about Guru Sahib they came here and requested Guru Sahib to come to the Village. Guru Sahib stayed at the house of Bhai Surtya ji (Gurudwara Sri Haveli Sahib is situated there). Guru Sahib used to have daily morning activities (datan and ishnan) at bank of Village pond where now Gurudwara Sri nimsar Sahib is situated, and daily diwan here.

Guru Sahib stayed here in this Village for 45 days. Happy from sewa of the Bhai surtya ji and Villagers Guru Sahib blessed Villagers with following this

• chola Sahib with 52 kalian (chola Sahib used by Guru Sahib while coming out of gwalior fort to set 52 rajput rullers free)
• jora Sahib
• small Granth Sahib, which Guru Sahib used while his stay here
