This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 16 Km southwest of Ludhiana City on Ludhiana-Pakhowal Road in Village Jodhan.
The Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji halted at this place in 1705, while coming from Village Alamgir on the horse which was presented to him by Bhai Nigahia Singh, a horse trader of the Village.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji rested at this place, in 1705, while travelling from Alamgir via (Gurdwara Sri Paur Sahib Dolon Kalan) Dolon Kalan on the horse which was presented to Guru Ji by Bhai Nigahia Singh.
From Jodhan, Guru Gobind Singh went to the site of where Gurdwara Sri Tahli Sahib is now, in the village Rattan.
Guru Gobind Singh's journey was after the events of Anandpur Sahib, Chamkaur Sahib and Machhiwara.
