Gurudwara Sri Janam Asthaan Baba Budha ji Sahib is situated in Village Kathunangal, Distt Amritsar. Situated on Amritsar Batala road it marks birth place of Baba Budha Ji Sahib. Baba ji was born here to father Sugha Randhawa Ji and Mother Gauraan ji. Baba Ji was known as Budda in child hood. After meeting with Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Sahib he was known as Baba Budha Ji Sahib. When Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji Sahib had compiled first Sri Guru Granth Sahib at Harimandir Sahib, Baba Budha Ji Sahib was appointed first head Granthi Sahib. Baba Budha Ji Sahib had honour of performing tilak and Gurgadi Sewa from Sri Guru Angad Dev ji to Sri Guru HarGobind Sahib ji.
