Gurudwara Sri Khichri Sahib is situated in the Village Balbera of district Patiala. When Sri Guru HarGobind Sahib ji came to Karhali and cured a man suffering from leprosy, the news spread arround the area. People started coming for Guru Sahib's darshan and blessing. One old lady came for Guru Sahib's darshan but by the tie she reached Guru Sahib had left. She followed Guru Sahib and met him here. She offered food to Guru Sahib. Then Guru Sahib blessed this place that who so ever will offer Khichri (porridge) here, there jaundice problem will be cured. When Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji was going to Delhi, he also stoped here while moving further to Cheeka.
