Gurudwara Sri Manji Sahib – Jakhwali
This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 20 Km Southeast of Ludhiana City and 16 Km from town Sirhind in Village Jakhwali.
The Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji alongwith his wife Mata Gujri Ji came to this Village from Village Naulakha on his missionary travels. The Villagers alongwith a Brahmin named Ganda Ram came to have a glimpse of Guru Ji. They served Guru Ji with respect. Guru Ji was very pleased and blessed this Village that anybody who will see this place, his generations would be prosperous. Here a well and an old banyan tree of Guru Ji’s time still exist.
