Gurudwara Sri Manji Sahib is situated in Village Kanech district Ludhiana. Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji came here from machiwara via ghulal, lall kalan, katana, rampur. Guru Sahib was sitting on Manji and Bhai gani khan and nabi khan were carryng it. Guru Sahib rested here for some time and went for further journey. A local farmer fatta came to Guru Sahib and offered for any service Guru Sahib would like to get done. Guru Sahib asked him to lend his horse(Guru Sahib knew about his horse as he used to visit Guru Sahib at anadpur Sahib riding that horse). Fatta went home and brought a little mare (female horse). Guru Sahib rejected that and asked for that male horse. Fatta lied Guru Sahib that horse has been taken away by his son-inlaw. Guru Sahib smiled on his and left for his further journey. When fatta reached home he found that his hosrse died of snake bite.
