Gurudwara Sri Naulakha Sahib is situated in Village Naulakha district Patiala. This Village is situated on Patiala sirhind road. Almost 20 km from Patiala and 14 km from sirhind. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji came here while on his tour to malwa region. Guru Sahib stayed here for one day and one night. By a chance lakhi shah wanjara was also staying here. He was looking for his ox which he had lost some where. He plegded in his mind that if he found his ox he will offer Guru Sahib with few takka's. And with grace of Guru Sahib he found his ox in jungle. He came to Guru Sahib and offered 9 takka's. Guru Sahib without even touching the takka's forwarded it to the sangat. Bhai lakhi shah wanjara thought that Guru Sahib wasn't happy on his offering. He said to Guru Sahib that today he hadnt enough money but will present him with more amount. Guru Sahib told him that his nine takka's are equvalent to nine lakhs (nau lakh). Later few old people from near by came to have Guru Sahib's glimpse. They served Guru Sahib with geat Devotion. Guru Sahib blessed them and asked to name this place as naulakha.
