Gurudwara Sri Patshahi Nauvin Sahib – Ali Sher Kalan
This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 19 Km from Mansa on Mansa-Barnala Road in Village Ali Sher Kalan.
When Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited Village Pandher (in Barnala District), the Villagers did not pay due respect. Hence Guru Ji left the Village and reached Village Ali Sher Kalan. Soon the villagers of Pandher realized their error and started towards Village Ali Sher Kalan to ask for forgiveness. They brought Gur (Jaggery) and some money with them and on the way met a person who was returning after paying homage to Guru Ji. They asked him," What they should offer to Guru Ji to seek pardon?" That person replied, " Nothing, Guru Ji does not look at the fault of others." The Villagers of Pandher distributed the offering among themselves and went empty handed to Guru Ji. They asked for forgiveness. Guru ji preached them to live honestly. Thereafter, the natives of Pandher returned to their village and constructed the Gurdwara at the place where Guru Ji had halted in the memory of Guru Ji.
