This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 19 Km East of Sangrur City and 37 Km from Patiala City on Sangrur-Patiala Road in town Bhawanigarh.
The Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji blessed this place by his visit. Guru Ji accepting the invitation of the King of Assam, started his journey on horses from Anandpur Sahib in 1665 with 300 followers and carrying necessary items for 3 Years journey reached this place via Malwa region and Thoohi Ramgarh - Thoran - Gunike and Aalo-Aarkh Villages. Guru Ji stayed here for 2 days.
Guru Ji was accompanied by his Mother Mata Nanaki Ji, his wife Mata Gujri Ji, Maternal Uncle Kirpal Chand Ji, Bhai Sangatia Ji, Bhai Sukh Nand Ji, Bhai Sahib Chand Ji, Saint Gurbaksh Das Ji Udasi, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Dyala Ji, Bhai Udai Ji, Bhai Gurditta Ji, Bhai Jaita Ji and Rababi Group ( a musical group) of Bhai Nathu Ram Ji. Guru Ji arranged Kirtan Darbars here. After two Days stay Guru Ji went to Ghanaur via Villages Phaguwala, Gharachon and Nagra. The wishes of the people are fulfilled here with Guru Ji's blessing

On his two days stay Guru Sahib used perform Kirtan Darbar here. From here Guru Sahib resumed the journey via Phaguwal Gharancho, Ghanour. With Guru Sahibs blessings peoples wishes are fulfilled here.
