Gurudwara Sri Patshahi pahli ate Dasvin is situated in the Sarai Nagaan Village in Mukatsar district. When Guru Nanak Dev ji came here took rabab from Pheru mal ji (father of Sri Guru Angad Dev ji) and gave it to Bhai Mardana ji. Guru Nanak Dev ji stayed here for 6 days. On those days there was a sufi sant staying here. People used to call him naga. Guru Sahib also treated a person named karmu from disease of kohar. Later Guru Gobind Singh ji came here after battle of Mukatsar. Guru Sahib stayed here for a night and met naga Sadhu. In history the age of Sadhu is mentioned of about 1700 yrs. Guru Gobind Singh ji had discussion with Sadhu and told him that its not right to increase your age with help of sidhi. Sadhu asked Guru Sahib that no one will remember him after his death, so Guru Sahib blessed him that this Village will be famous on his name, hence the name of Village was named Sarai Nagaan from Mate di Saraan.

This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 15 km from Mukatsar City on Kotkapura-Mukatsar Road in Village Sarai Nagaan.

The First Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited this place during his First Preaching tour while coming from Sultanpur Lodhi. Bhai Pheru Mall Ji (Father of Second Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Angad Dev Ji ) lived in this Village. Bhai Ji was Munshi (one who keeps Accounts) of Chaudhry Takhat Mall. Bhai Ji had a Rabab at his house which Guru Nanak Dev Ji took and gave it to Bhai Mardana, his disciple. Guru Ji stayed at this place for 6 days because Guru Ji liked to stay with saints and Meditators and at that time a Great saint resided here whom people called Naga Saint. Guru Nanak Dev Ji also cured a person named Karmu who was Suffering from Leprosy.

The Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this place after winning the battle of 'Khidrane Dee Dhab' and stayed here for a Night. Guru Ji met Naga saint whose age is mentioned in History books as 1400 Years. Guru Ji had discussions with Naga Saint and said that it is not beneficial to increase your age with the help of Siddhi when you have not attained enlightenment. Naga Saint said," No one will remember me after my death". So Guru Ji blessed him that this Village will be known as Sarai Nagaan after his name. Guru Ji went to Harike from this place.
