Gurudwara Sri Sadabarat Sahib is situated on the Ropar-Kiratpur Sahib road in city Ropar. Sri Guru HarGobind Singh ji came back to Ropar from Daroli Bhai ki. Guru Sahib started the practise of langars at various places and did many of the good things for the benefit of people living in dowaba. Then again Sri Guru HarGobind Sahib ji came here after winning the battle of mehraj, district Bathinda. Guru Sahib was going towards Kiratpur Sahib. When Sri Guru harkarishan ji was going towards Delhi, he stayed first at this place. Lot of people came to have glimpse of Guru Sahib. Then Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji while going towards and coming back from bihar-assam stayed here. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was coming from Sri Anandpur Sahib. First time Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji came here while coming from bihar. Later Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji came here many times while going or coming back to Sri Anandpur Sahib. Except Guru Sahib's Mata Gujri ji, Mata Sundar Kaur ji and Mata Sahib Kaur ji also visited this place.
