This Gurdwara is situated in town Fatehgarh Sahib on Sirhind-Morinda Road at a distance of 5 Km from town Sirhind and 15 Km from town Morinda, near Gurdwara Shri Fatehgarh Sahib.

At this place Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji cremated 6000 Sikhs who had won martyrdom in the battle of Sirhind. Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was sent by Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji to fight against the atrocities of Muslims from Nanded (a town in Maharashtra State of India).

Gurudwara Sri Shaheed ganj Sahib is situated in  city Fatehgarh Sahib. Situated in the same campus of Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, it marks the place where Baba Banda Singh ji Bahadur cremated 6000 sikhs. These were the sikhs who were martydom during battle of sirhind which Baba Banda Singh ji Bahadur had with mughals.
